What is Love?

According to Webster dictionary Love is an emotion of strong affection and personal attachment. Generally when a person falls in love they have heightened romantic interest in someone else and this doesn’t necessarily have to occur at first sight. Many people are friends first and find over time their feelings change to those more romantic in nature. They might want more from a relationship than just friendship and they may cherish more than friendly feelings for the person with whom they've fallen in love. Most times they agree that being just friends is best for both parties. When deep down the love is burning a hole in their soul.




The emotions which we experience when we are falling in love are almost enough to set off fireworks. Love is a powerful emotion and one which most of us will luckily have the pleasure to experience at some point in our lives. Love knows no boundaries and it will infect anyone irregardless of one's race, stature, age or intelligence. People thing they can be in love with more than one person at a time. That is false. When your in love with someone you are giving that person your full emotions. Just saying I love you don't cut it. Love is a action work that most people take for granted. You have to show real love and when you do...its a beautiful thing. I have two friends that are in love with each other but due to certain things in the universe they are not in a relationship. The love that my male friend has for this female is like no other that I have ever seen. He is her knight in shining armor and once they both realize that. It will be a love explosion for the ages. That is the love that I wish to give a man sometime here in the future.




My love life has taken so many twist and turns here in the past couple of years.  I have tried to date the fixer up guy, the common guy, the young guy, and the older guy.  None of them was working for me.  I stop dating one guy due to the way he chew his steak. My dad raised me to never depend on a man for nothing and I have to admit that I took that and ran with it. I wanted kids..no need to find the right guy and get married. I took care of that myself. Repairs around the house ( that my brother fuck up trying to fix) I read up on it and fix it myself. The one thing my dad forgot to tell me that I would need a man for........was LOVE.

Falling Friends

This is a special blog that is close to my heart about one of my friends.  This is also a lesson to all who wake up one day and think their shit don't stink.


A good close friend of mine is in a relationship with a good dude.  To define how good he is would take up too much of my blog space and I don't have the time to list it all.  When they met she was in street hustle mode living in the projects and not doing too much for herself.  Fast forward they start dating and she lose what little job she had.  As a good man should do he helped her get an apt and let her use his 2009 Yukon until she gets back on her feet.  Fast forward again she falls short on money for school and start stripping to makes ends meet behind her boyfriends back.  He finds out a couple of weeks later and tells her he will support her until she gets back in school and working if she quite stripping.  She does and everything seems to be working out.


Last fast forward.  She is in school full-time and got a nice paying job with great benefits.  All seems to be going great but being a full-time student and working full-time has put a strain on the relationship.  Tuesday thru Saturday she is in school or working from 8am to 9pm.


Now the problem...She tells her man that she too tired to hang out, but choose to hit up a club with some male and female co workers.  One of the male coworkers buys her lunch everyday and she gave him a lap-dance in the club.  he Kissed her on the cheek and the neck but she blamed it on the alcohol.  She tells her man two days later but left out the kissing part.  He was upset but after a day he forgave her and was ready to make the relationship work.  Now she is on her B.S and told him that because he went out and didn't come home she need to think about this relationship.  Told him that if he want her...he knows where to find him.  She said her problem with her boyfriend is that he is too needy and his sex is too long.  She want a 5 minute guy not a hour + guy.


Tell me what you think?  My friend crazy or is her boyfriend giver her too much rope?

Recently someone told me I should just live and be free.  Didn't know I wasn't free but i understand what she was getting at.  I'm always trying to tell her what she should do in life but never took the time to take her advice about my life.  So here is my interview with my inner self and I hope you get to learn something new about me.

Rookie: What was your favorite food when you were a child?

Tiamia: When I was a kid my favorite thing to eat was bannans, peanutbutter, and bacon sandwich.

Rookie:  What’s the #1 most played song on your iPod?

Tiamia:  Right now it's DMX the rain.  for what ever reason it reminds me of my mother's advice

Rookie:  What is one of your favorite quotes?

Tiamia:  ummmm stop playing bitch

Rookie:  What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?

Tiamia:  Right now indoor has to be dogeball.  I'm loving it and outdoor its people watching

Rookie:  What chore do you absolutely hate doing?

Tiamia:  Any that the housekeeper don't do..lol

Rookie:  What is your favorite form of exercise?

Tiamia:  umm duh Sex

Rookie:  What is your favorite body part?

Tiamia:  I would have to say my boobs but before kids I had killer thighs

Rookie:  If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?

Tiamia: After investing and putting a lot aside for a raining day.  I would open a women shelter   

Rookie:  When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?

Tiamia:       Use my hitachi back messager.....on my back (lol)

Rookie:  If you could know the answer to any question, besides “What is the meaning of life?”, what would it be?

Tiamia:   I would want to know why do we have demecrats and how do we get rid  of them.

I'm a Role Model

This week I will be mentoring two at risk teen girls everyday here at work.  I think this is a perfect chance to show these young girls that staying in the books and giving up a part or two is the way to go if they want to make it in life.  I know i'm a role model, because when you have a vision of something greater for your life and work towards that vision you will become a positive role model for others whether you want to or not. When you value, believe in and respect yourself, people will notice that there's something different about you. And chances are you will not fit in with everyone else. That's a good thing, because it means that you are unique and you were given the special task of being a beacon of light for others.  Being a role model isn't always easy. There will be times when you will find yourself at odds with your friends. You'll even worry about fitting in. But don't worry. You're not supposed to fit in, because being a role model means that you stand out for others to see.

There is something special about knowing that you are trying to set a good example and that you care enough to be the very best. Whether or not you are popular has nothing to do with being a role model. A role model is someone who chooses to put forth their best effort everyday and when they make a mistake they pick themselves up and try again. If this sounds like you, then I say that you are a positive role model. Keep up the good work.  If this does now sound like you then read this over and use today to make a change.  Remember your son will grow up to be just like you.

Ran into the Ex

After 1 month of having no contact with my ex and I was finally getting over him, I run into him at the movie last night with his new-ex girlfriend. It was weird, it's like as soon as I saw him, it seemed the pain came all over again & the memories came back to me, the good and the bad.He was looking great and for that simple moment, I wanted to go back in time to when we were together. I tried to avoid him but he seemed to catch me as soon as I tried to turn around. We ended on bad terms and I broke his arm which was kind of enjoyable.  He pushed me and I grab my Louisville and swung for the fence.   Better I break his arm than my brother break his face, but thats all water under the bridge. He seemed to have gotten over it since he actually called out my name at the movie. He was happy to see me and he told me that I looked great, which I already knew. What also hurted was to see that he moved back with his ex girldfriend who I have some history with. She had the nerve to stand next to him like I was really going to show some emotion.  She look like she could be a model for the local Mexican restaurant or my next house keeper! They seem to like each other alot, they were all hugged up on each other & they seem very happy. He was talking about how good his life is now & that he's happier than he's ever been. He basically told me that it was good seeing me again & for me to take care of myself.  This dumb ass was trying to put all this he living good energy out into the world when he really not.  Sleeping on his brother couch and had to let his oldest daughter go back to live with her drug rehab mother.  He never addressed the issue of our ex relationship, probably for the better anyway.  Because all them bad feeling would have came back and I would have broken the other arm.

Right now im not looking for love or a relationship.  I told my bestfriend\little sister that im going to grow old and get a bunch of cats.   No love life (unless its my Hitachi), no male excitement in my life.. just nothing but my Alicia & Ava. 


But I did get the number of a fine ass white guy that was taking his daughter to the movies.  Maybe white is my answer to happiness...Shut up RZ..lmao

What makes a person a Whore?

"Hoe" is a slang variant of the word "whore"; a prostitute.
A hoe is a person who offers herself sexually to gain the approval of others, or other benefits. This may not mean she actually has sex with anyone, a person who flirts too much may be designated a "hoe" as well.



Me and one of my employees had the age old conversation of what makes a women a whore.  She thinks if u sleep with more than ONE man in her book ur considered a hoe... And let's be real ladies... This day and age, who's only been with 1 man? When she said that I was thinking so, u think im a hoe cuz I been with about lets say ummmmm 10 guys since I was 16.T  hen I thought for u to be a grown woman calling another woman a hoe is childesh, I thought it was so high school... I feel like if ur grown u can sleep with who u want when u want and how many u want.  I think maturity level and self respect would play a part but if it was over years I dont see the problem. When it comes down to it all that matters is what u think of yourself.  If you can look in the mirror and smile because you feel good about yourself and how your living your life.  Then ok great for you.  My aunt id from the old school and I asked her the same question.  Her responds was In my book hoe is short for hooker, hooker is slang for prostitute, and a prostitute is someone who has sex for money. A slut is a scandalous heffa who will sleep with anyone or anything out of a lack of self respect and disregard of others.  I kinda of see her point too.  there are women out there that will on purpose sleep with another women man.  Now don't get me wrong.  I have done my dirt in the past and have friends that have also.  There is a flip side to this.  My brother was in an open relationship with two women.  Does that make him a man whore?  Both women knew each other and knew the deal.  Personally I though it was cool to have two future sister in laws ( if we lived in Utah)


I think it's disgusting that men can get away with all that they do, yet women do the exact same and get called derogatory names. I think if a man has sex with multiple partners and continiously boasts about it, he is obviously a slut. There are no two ways about it. Men can also be sluts, they can also be whores, there is nothing that distinguishs those terms to one particular sex. I find that most men are worse than any one woman can be when it comes to being a whore, because they find pleasure and joy out of it and put women down.


My final thought.....Men and women can be Whores, but in the eyes of the world today.  A women whore is much worst then a man whore.  If your going to be a whore do it with some class and always use protection FROM THE START..aka first insert.  Man whore or women  whore....STD's and HIV don't give a damn.
